Simple structure: It is mainly composed of a small number of components such as the pump body, gears, shafts, and bearings. Compared with other types of hydraulic pumps, such as piston pumps and vane pumps, its structure is simpler, the manufacturing and maintenance costs are lower, and mass production is easy to achieve.
Reliable operation: The gears of the gear pump are rigidly connected to the shaft, and there are few moving parts. It can operate stably in a high-pressure environment, with high work reliability and a long service life.
Strong self-priming ability: It can quickly suck in the oil when starting. Even in the case of a long oil suction pipeline or high oil viscosity, it can still complete the oil suction process well. It is not sensitive to oil contamination and can adapt to various harsh working environments.
Wide pressure range: Through reasonable design of gear parameters, optimization of the pump body structure, and the use of high-strength materials, high-pressure gear pumps can work within a relatively wide pressure range, generally reaching 10 - 40MPa, or even higher.
Large speed range: It can adapt to relatively high speeds, usually between 1000 - 5000r/min, which can meet the flow requirements in different application scenarios, and can still maintain a high volumetric efficiency at high speeds.
